Applications lagging after a while of active usage

I've been having this problem for quite a while now, and I really haven't found a good solution online.

So here's my problem:
Whenever I start-up/open an app, any app (it actually varies for some reason), it runs smoothly at first.But as it's been open for just a couple of seconds, it just starts lagging all over the sudden, and I'm not sure why.

Mainly the problem has happened to mainly Games I've tried playing, like Heroes of the Storm and Roblox Client, but it's also happened to my Google Chrome and sometimes even just File Explorer and Settings. It goes away after restarting my PC for a couple of times, sometimes the lag returns, sometimes it doesn't, but I don't really want to waste my time on having to restart my PC like 4 times just so i could open my Browser.

It doesn't even matter if it was a Game App, Browser or Media Apps, and even Microsoft Office. It always happens and I don't know what to do.

I have tried and researched on the internet on some ways on how to fix it, but I always stumble upon dead ends and the problem still continues to happen constantly. But the methods that keep showing up on Google and Bing where "How to fix slow applications" or "How to fix slow application start-ups", which wasn't the question that I was looking for but I've tried it anyways. And as I've mentioned, none of them worked. Some of the methods were to close all background applications, which I've done with Task Manager, nothing worked. I've also tried deleting the .temp folder on file explorer, and so far that was the closest that I got to solving the problem, but the lag returned a few minutes later.

I have done and went on the internet day in and out on looking for answers to fix this, but nothing. I even went as far as to completely reset my computer to have a fresh start, but even with that, what I would've thought would fix the problem, didn't.

As of now I've completely lost hope and am thinking of just buying a new hard drive as a replacement, because this is the only time I've had this happen to this PC after replacing it's hard drive last 2019 when it got corrupted.

I'm really sorry if this is too long for anyone to read, I'm just really desperate at this point to finding out a solution without having to buy a new Hard Drive. And I don't even know if I'm doing something wrong or what, but I just want this to get fixed so I can finally type my Thesis without having to slam the keyboard out of rage.

    -Hi, my name is Claudeir, I'm happy to help you!

    Let's do a few steps, test if it resolves after each one:

    -Keep everything up to date with the system (right click start, settings, update and security, check for update. Also visit the video card/mother board/BIOS manufacturer's website to see if there are any drivers to update)

    -Clean startup:

    Clean boot is for you to determine if a background program is interfering with your system or to optimize your system load.

    For clean boot follow the steps below:

    On the Desktop, press the Windows + R keys simultaneously to open Run;

    In the Run Menu type msconfig command and click OK to open System Configuration;

    On the Services tab, check Hide All Microsoft Services and Click Disable All;

    Click Apply and OK;

    Restart the computer.

    NOTE:This procedure disables all third-party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, selectively, instead of keeping them all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

    -Right click on start, run PowerShell(admin) or Command Prompt(admin)

    Copy and paste the following command:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    and press Enter.(Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete).

    After you see a message saying "The operation completed successfully", copy and paste this command:

    sfc /scannow

    and press Enter.

    Wait for a message that says "Verification 100% complete".

    So add this command:

    chkdsk /f /r /b

    Confirm with "Y" and restart the computer for this last step.

    -Uninstall any third-party anti-malware, many antiviruses have their own removal tool. Visit the Installed Software website for more information. Your system will not be unprotected as Windows has its own security system that automatically enables as soon as you restart your computer.

    leave just Windows Defender, then Windows+i, update and security, Windows security, open Windows security, virus and threat protection, scan options, tick and run a full scan, then tick and run an offline scan.

    -Follow these tips:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/tip...

    -If nothing solves the problem, it will be necessary a recovery keeping your files because it was not possible to repair the corrupted system files.

    Windows+i> Update and security> recovery> start now. You can keep your files.

    -Feel free to leave your opinion, marking as answered if the answer helped, or leaving more details so that we can continue the service, this is very important to us.

    Graciously,

    Claudeir
