Having an issue with my new Windows 11 laptop. I have previosly connected my laptop to my Wi-Fi but when I attempted to log in today it shows it's not connected and as a result I can't log in. I can't access my computer at all even in safe start mode (just tells me I need to download an app when attempting to log in but goes no further)
Any ideas? I'm a bit stuck
Thanks

Hi SidneyWright1 ,
what is the error message you get when you try to connect to the WiFi network? Post a screenshot.
If you connect your pc to the router via a network cable, can you access the internet?
Try to reset network connections: Open PowerShell or CMD and run as administrator, copy and paste the following commands by pressing enter at the end of each command line:
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
netsh advfirewall reset
netsh winhttp>reset proxy
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
Restart the computer at the end of all commands.
Hi,
ok.
Go to Device Manager, expand network adapters, check if the wi-fi adapter is present, enabled and if it works correctly. if you prefer post a screenshot. Please specify which Firewall / Antivirus you are using.
Hi, thanks for the response. I've plugged my ethernet cable in and have managed to log into my Laptop now. There isn't exactly an error message but instead just a complete lack of any WiFi settings in my network and internet settings tab. I've tried your command prompt fix but doesn't seem like it's done anything. Was using my computer this morning with no issues. When opening Network connections it shows nothing but my current ethernet connection.
