NEBT_TCPIP failed because another computer on the network has the same name repeatedly after upgrading to Windows 11 EVENT 2505 SERVER

I upgraded to windows 11 and have this error causing my laptop to not connect properly to my wifi over and over again. This is the only computer on this network.

    Please right click This PC>Properties>Rename this PC, reboot your device and check the issue.

    Let us know if it works.

      I understand that you have encountered an error code 2505. We are here to help on this issue.

      This may occur when you upgrade to Windows 11, because your device may detect your profile several times.

      Try the following steps please:

        STEP ONE: Press WIN+R, insert ncpa.cpl, right click the network connection and choose Properties

        STEP TWO: Choose TCP/IPv4>Advanced>WINS tab>Disable NetBIOS Over TCP/IPv4


        STEP THREE: Click OK, reboot your device and check the issue.
