Every time I start my PC the time shown is wrong by 1 hour. If i tell windows to synchronize the clock, then it adjusts to the correct time. but having to do so is annoying. Is there a way to fix this?

    I figured out that the problem is caused because I'm dual booting Linux. Linux sets the Clock on the Motherboard differently. Windows and Linux maybe handle daylight-saving time differently, causing the 1 hour offset. The difference is that Linux automatically checks if the time is correct and updates it. While in windows I have to do it manually.

    Hello Redhonu, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    I understand that every time when starting the PC you need to synchronize the time;

    Initially I recommend checking your settings below;

    Press Windows key + I and access Time and Language;

    Check the time zone is correct;

    Click Language and Region;

    In Country or Region check if the Country is correct;

    Click Administrative Language Settings;

    Click Change system location;

    Check that the current system location is correct;

    Check Windows Update for updates and do any pending updates;

    Now check if the problem has been fixed;

    I hope I have helped, see you soon!
