I have recently finished building my first computer. Now my mic isn't recording. It doesn't detect sound.
I have tried everything I can find, which is the following
*Reset soundsettings
*Update firmware
*Try different outlets in the pc
*Run as administrator
*Troubleshooting found nothing
*Download and install discord again
*Tried 3 different headsets, and they all work on all my other devices
I am out of ideas, help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi MiroM17
How are you? I hope you are doing good.
I am Juliet and It's my pleasure to help you today.
I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you :)
If your microphone isn't detected, you may need to give your apps permission to use it.
To let apps access the microphone, select Start ,then select Settings > Privacy > Microphone. Select Change, then turn on Allow apps to access your microphone.
After allowing access to the microphone, you can choose which Microsoft Store apps can access these features under Choose which Microsoft Store apps can access your microphone, and give access to non-Microsoft-Store desktop apps by ensuring that the switch beneath Allow desktop apps to access your microphone is set to On.
I hope it helps! Let me know the results.
