    Hello Pz Sniper,

    Thank you for responding.

As per article below, it stated that "this warning is by design". These warning messages are expected during the installation of Configuration Manager client and can be safely ignored. The reasoning behind the warning is that we are letting the users know that any WMI provider (IntelMEProv) that runs under the LocalSystem context is not optimal. Therefore, it just provide the warning anytime the WMI service starts up.

If the warning messages continue to be logged after the installation of Configuration Manager client is complete, it may be because the Configuration Manager Client Retry Task in Scheduled Tasks was not removed after the successful install. If you continue to experience these warning messages after the Configuration Manager client is successfully installed, deleting or disabling this task in Scheduled Task will stops the numerous WMI warning messages from being generated.

Please see articles below for more information:

The first link shows a different provider not 'IntelMEProv' but the warning message is exactly the same.

I hope I was able to help you today.

Thank you for choosing Microsoft. Have a great day and stay safe! Best regards,Mara May MMicrosoft Community Advocate

    Hi Pz Sniper,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community.

I hope you are doing well. We understand that you are having some errors in Windows after installation. We really appreciate your time in bringing this concern to us.

We have checked this issue and found out that this error occur because Configuration Manager is not included in the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) exclusion list of providers that can run under the local system account at the time of installation.

For us to properly isolate this problem, please allow us to ask the following:

    1. When creating the bootable media, did you use the ISO from the Microsoft Office download site?
    2. Is this is a personal device or work connected to a domain or server?
    3. What is the Windows edition running on this computer? It it Windows 11 Home or Pro?
    4. You can also send us a screenshot of your WINVER, to do so;
      1. Press Windows Key + R
      2. At the Run dialog box, type WINVER
      3. Hit OK or Enter

We look forward for your response.

Thank you for choosing Microsoft. Have a great day and stay safe!

Best regards,Mara May MMicrosoft Community Advocate
