I am reposting my old post:
"Since windows update earlier this spring/summer I've had issues with mouse stuttering. This has never been an issue before, the last 5 years using Win10 on my desktop with Logitech G602 mouse. No, it isn't batteries. No it isn't because my computer is slow. CPU utilization ~15%. 4,3 GHz. It seems windows is configuring the usb port for power saving or something. If I swap the mouse dongle to a different USB port the problem disappears for a while. I've tried many ports. USB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1. After a while stuttering return. I swap the port again and I It disappears for a while after changing USB port again.. How do I troubleshoot this? I want my super responsive system back."

I am still having the same issue.
Have updated to Win version 21H1.
I have Logitech Gaming Software 9.02 with latest updates...
How to I troubleshoot this?

I had the same issue, i had the gaming driver for the G602 mouse and it stopped working.

After many tries and i end up figuring out the solution.

i uninstalled the gaming driver and made sur in the material section the Logitech Gaming enumerator is removed then you need to install the G hub driver instead and voila everything is up and running

    Hi,

    From above post:

"I swapped the G602 receiver to my Surface Pro just now, and it responds nicely with no stutter..
I have never believed there is anything wrong with this mouse!
Just now I plugged in my 20 year old Logitech MX510 - and as expected - it works smoothly."

For clarity: Mouse problems is regarding G602 mouse with my workstation (i7 4,3 GHz).
It worked without issue for 5 years until windows update during spring 2021.

G602 wireless mouse is intermittently borderline unusable with stuttering cursor or non-responsiveness.
I am using a mouse mat. Tried swapping batteries several times.
I would like advice on how to troubleshoot this.

    Regards

Some times I swap ports several times within the same day and the mouse still is unresponsive.
G602 mouse has latest firmware and latest driver.

I tried Method 1 update driver as suggested. It says latest drivers are installed.
No, I cannot roll back Windows. I've had this mouse unresponsiveness for more than 6 months. It is maddening. To add insult to injury, this summer a Windows update broke the installation to the extent that my computer was not able to launch the Windows installation! All attempts to recover it failed and the updater had made sure NOT to make any restore point before breaking the OS. So I had to make a clean install after my original post.

What is the time referred to as a while? If its more than a day then the USB ports and Windows are probably fine. They really shouldn't be doing anything differently after that amount of time.

The Logitech driver or maybe interference could be a reason.

Unfortunately this model doesn't seem to also offer wired connection as the wireless pro does but that would be another way of knowing if its with Windows or the USB port. I would recommend testing a wired mouse if you have one available. If it doesn't do it then its a problem with the mouse, not Windows or the USB ports.

You can also make sure that you have the last firmware that was offered for it and also install the Logitech software and maybe something there will help. It is an old mouse released in 2013 so it might also be experiencing problems now. I'd really try a wired mouse to find out. https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024700594--Downloads-G602-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse
