Should I install the free patch from 0patch micropatching service for the "CVE-2021-34484 Zero-day bug"?

Hello,

I am very much concerned about the new CVE-2021-34484 Zero-day bug. Is it safe to install the free patch from 0patch micropatching service?

Or should I wait for Microsoft to provide one although I don't know how long it might take?

Any professional advice would be very much appreciated.

    Yes, the patch is available on the highly respected site Bleeping Computer here:

    You can keep it current until Microsoft delivers a patch, monitor that progress on Bleeping Computer.

    Syed, I am not a security expert. If you have one who advises your company I would ask them.

    You could also ask at Bleeping Computer which is highly reputable for consumer Security issues.

    Thanks Greg for your valuable advice. Although, is it really necessary for the Windows users to apply this free patch? I am working as an IT Officer in a private company with 100+ users. How vulnerable would be the users' PC's at my company without using this free patch?
