Clear false "This PC doesn't currently meet the minimum system requirements to run Windows 11" message

I had to re-flash my laptop's EC firmware recently to deal with an audio issue. During that process, TPM was disabled. Unaware of this, I ran Windows Update and received a "This PC doesn't currently meet the minimum system requirements to run Windows 11" message - which was a surprise to me, because until then Windows Update had stated the opposite, as had PC Health Check.

I sorted out the TPM issue (it needed re-enabled in UEFI) but the message persists in Windows Update. PC Health Check confirms I can indeed install Windows 11. I don't want to install right now since I'm in the middle of grad school finals; I'd simply like to clear the false message as it's an annoyance. Other forum threads have suggested Microsoft is aware of this error, and the message might clear itself given enough time, but it's been over a week, and no thread I've found indicates any way to remove the message (other than installing Windows 11).

Is anyone aware of a way to remove this false message?

(Related to this: Windows Update also provides a link to "Get PC Health Check", which seems odd because I already have it installed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling - no effect.)

Hi, I am Van. I'll be glad to assist you today.

There have been cases with regards to Windows update's unable to detect immediately the current hardware status of a device for Windows 11 requirements. If the PC health check app show your device passed the minimum requirement. You can use the Windows 11 update assistant to manually upgrade your Windows 10 to Windows 11.

With regards, to the false notification. You can ignore it for now and wait for Windows updates to fully detect your hardware status.

    Best regards,

    Van

Thank you; it appears that that thread offers a few suggestions:

    (1) Change Windows Insider settings to reset this message. (I am not a Windows Insider and would prefer not to sign up just to clear this, so probably won't take this approach.)

    (2) Full shutdown (Shift + Shut Down). I haven't tried that yet so will in a few minutes.

    (3) Windows Update Troubleshooter. That didn't actually work for anyone in the thread but it's worth a try.

    (4) Wait a few days. Doesn't seem to be working for me since it's been well over a week...but perhaps I need to wait a month or more?

If anyone else has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Meanwhile I'll try (2) and (3). Thanks again.

Thank you for the reply. To be clear, I understand that I can use the PC Health Check tool to install Windows 11 when I want to. I simply want to eliminate the false error message.
