Hi,

I had a error in my upgrade to windows 11:

There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0xc1900101)

My laptop specifications is

Asus Zephyrus M16

BaseBoard Product GU603HM

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-11900H @ 2.50GHz, 2496 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16,0 GB

I tried by windows update and media usb.

Does anyone know how to solve it?

EDIT: ASUS has a solution "Once you’re not able to upgrade device operation system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 with error code0xC1900101or0x80070002occurred as below." Here is the link to the article https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1047338/

I want to add two more to ferchomuri's answer:

  1. You find the driver: Device Manager > System devices > ASUS System Control Interface v3
  2. You must prevent Windows Update from automatically reinstalling the above driver, or else you will get the 0xc1900101 code again. See below

Prevent Windows Update to automatically install the ASUS driver:

  1. Win + X
  2. Select "System"
  3. Under "Related settings" select "Advanced system settings"
  4. Click the tab "Hardware"
  5. Under "Device Installation Settings" click "Device Installation Settings"
  6. Select "No" to prevent the automatically download of manufacturers apps...
  7. Delete the driver under Device manager
  8. Restart the computer

Then try to update to Win 11.

Sorry about the spoonfeeding, but this is what I needed. Happy Xmas!

Looking through your log. it seems this device might be causing a problem. Since it appears to be some type of ASUS utility, maybe it is something you can uninstall.

Where did you find those drivers and how did you uninstall them?

You can find it in Devide Manager. You must unplugged your connection to internet because windows update this driver automatically. Also I uninstalled MyAsus.
