Unable to fix 0xc000007b error (Tried everything...)

I have been trying to fix this issue for a very long time now but I am unable to do so even after a month worth of research and trials. I have gone through almost all of the forums and videos of up to 5 pages of google search which I have done plenty of. These are some of the things that I tried -

  1. .net framework uncheck -> restart -> check -> restart
  2. .net reoair tool
  3. Run as administrator
  4. Use compatibility mode
  5. Reinstalled the app (plenty of times)
  6. Uninstalled all Visual C++ then installed them all (64 bit and then 64bit and 32bit together)
  7. Upadte directX which was already latest version
  8. Installed latest windows update (fortunately there was one yesterday)
  9. Disk check
  10. system health check
  11. SFC check
  12. Full windows scan (which can be launched when you restart your pc)
  13. Windows defender scan (maybe some virus - but of no use)
  14. Replaced XINPUT1_3.dll (original is backed up)

And maybe some more that I might have forgotten (It's been so long)

I have also tried contacting the support of the respective apps that don't work because of this error and after weeks of emails, they have all failed to help me and asked me to contact Microsoft support (which I can't find anywhere).

But the error is still there, even after months it's still there. I have literally seen this error in my dreams(nightmares) as well.

I don't want to reinstall windows because I have a lot of important files for the current project that I am working on and unfortunately there is no restore point available. Is there any way that this can be fixed?

    (1/3) More methods ...

Hello, people of this world! Finally after ages without the help of any online forum or help from any Microsoft support executive I have come up with the final solution for this problem.

Downloadxinput1_3.dll - 32 bit and paste it into the immediate directory of the executable with this error. It doesn't matter if your computer is 32bit or 64bit, only use the 32bit version.

It worked for all my software, and even if this does not work use the Dependency Checker (updated) to determine the missing files, it is possible that 64-bit versions of those dlls may work for you, but it is possible that even if you have a 64bit computer yet that application might require 32bit version of that file.

What is a immediate directory? Can you please explain?

You don't mention what app gives the problem

    1. That dll refers to an Xbox app, and you cannot simply replace the file for it/ the app to function
    2. Sfc/DISM di not find any unrepairable problems?

If you have data, then surely this is backed up?

Reinstalling win does not loose data unless you have set the option to do so
