Why windows 10 iso takes so long to download

It takes around 30 min, in other words 1800 s.

Why not 5 minutes , i calculated and 5000mb / 1800s =2.7 mb/s

Windows iso is arround 5000 mb

What"s wrong with 2.7 mb/s speed , they say it's because of other apps in my pc and slow connection

but i have decent speed .?

You have made small mistake on your calculation with bits (b) and bytes (B).

    Size of ISO is about 5 GB which is about 50000 Mbit. 50000 Mbit / 1800s = 27.7 Mbit/s

(Size of ISO and conversion from GB to MB are approximately values, but close enough for calculation.)

    Good Day AamirshahSHAIK,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

First you can check your internet speed using this link below and check if you are getting slow connection for us to check if the issue is with the computer or the network connection itself.

    https://www.speedtest.net/

If you see slow speed using that test , there migth be an outage with your internet service provider.

If you see fast internet speed using that link , you can to restart your computer using cleanboot.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...

Once done restarting , try to download the ISO using a different browser if there's any and observe the connection.

I hope the information above helps.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
