I don't think you can find out in Windows if the USB port is charging. It usually has constantly up to 5V on it and should do the trick with the watch. Any port will do that if the PC or laptop is powered on, some will even do it when the laptop isn't on.

the heading just about says it all. my problem is i have this watch, the kind that tells heart rate, number of steps, etc... i dont have a charger. i dont even know if it came with one. anyway it looked like it would fit in my USB, and it went right in. how can i find out if its charging? theres no indicator light on the watch. thanks
