Minecraft fullscreen

When I play Minecraft (Java Edition) I don't have an option to maximize the window, I only have the option to play windowed or fullscreen. The maximize button is grayed out no matter what version I play both with the new launcher and the old launcher. How do I fix this?

    Hi ack,

    I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

    This was a bug in 1.8. The issue was resolved in the subsequent release.

    For me it f11 and gose Fullscreen
