Windows hello preventing some options from being shown

Hello,

I wanted to ask about how to solve this greyed out button shown in the photo

The computer was set to a user first (let's say it's user A), this option was active

I created another user (User B), this option was inactive

both users were administrators

I copied local app data from User A to User B, then Deleted User A, leaving the computer with only one user (user B)

The option remained inactive.

I tried to decrease user access control by 1 degree according to a suggestion from here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/require-sign-in-option-in-windows-10-is-greyed-out/479b7fde-67ff-41cf-ac8b-4b5168b09b92 , but it made no difference

So if you could help with this problem

This is my windows build

Edition Windows 10 Home

Version 21H1

Installed on ‎11/‎8/‎2021

OS build 19043.1415

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0

Thanks

    Hi ,Sarah Atwa

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

The reason for this problem may be that you have to log in again every time you leave the computer, and there is an option that does not require verification for a few minutes after the screen is locked. These two options conflict, and Windows Hello blocks the latter option.

You can try the following steps to see if it helps with this issue。

    1. Press [Win+I] at the same time to open the windows settings, and click the [Account] icon in this interface.
    2. Under the account window, click [Login Options] on the left, find windows hello--faces on the right, and click [Delete].

Hope this helps, and have a nice day.

    Best Regards,

    Hinata
