    Hello MichelleDillion

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate that you've taken the time to post your concern here in Microsoft Community Forum**.**

I understand that you have issue finding the Turbo Tax in your computer. Let me go ahead and assist you.

If you don't mind me asking, if you already check the file extension of Turbo Tax in your entire hard drive?

Please make sure to enable all the hidden folder. If after doing all the steps then you still can't find it. I am encouraging you to contact the intuit about this matter and they will help you.

    Respectfully,

Yes I have checked file extensions and hidden folders with no luck. Not sure if they got lost when I upgraded to Windows11 and are not able to be recovered easily as I know I would not have deleted them. After the upgrade to Windows 11 the TurboTax programs are still on computer but even when I open past years, there are no files.

If you are referring to the files created when you filled out your return, you probably keep them in a special folder. If not, the default location that was suggested by TurboTax.

If you kept them on your OneDrive, maybe they are still there.

There are some TurboTax files in C:\Your User folder\Roaming\Intuit Since the user folders are hidden, you can just put your user name in place and enter the path in explorer to open that folder.

I have not updated the system I keep TurboTax on to Win 11 so I don't know for sure there was not some type of glitch, but it should have maintained your files.

Any chance you, in the past, had made an image backup of your system?
