Bluetooth headset not getting detected

Hi,

I have a OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bluetooth headset. It was paired to my windows 10 laptop and was working fine. After using the headset for some time, I had to recharge it as the battery was only 4%. Without disconnecting the connection, I put the headset for charging . After it got fully charged, I connected it to my laptop but noticed that it was still showing my headset charge as 4%. Thinking that it needs to be refreshed, I removed the device with the intention of reconnecting it back. But after removing the device, I tried to add the bluetooth headset device again, but no matter how much I try, the headphones do not get detected.

I tried going to devmgmt.msc and view the hidden bluetooth devices, but can't find any.

Went into the registry and did a search for "OnePlus Bullets". It was listed.

What should I do now. Do I need to delete the key from the registry and add it again.

Please suggest what to do. It was working fine before which is why there is an entry in the registry.

What do i do. Please help.

Hello, I'm A&K, here to help.

I think it's more likely that this is a problem with the headphones, windows' Bluetooth connectivity feature is usually automatic. Have you tried connecting this headset using a smartphone or another computer? Is it working properly?

    Hi A&K,

The problem got resolved. I saw that it was paired to my smartphone. I had to unpair it first and then it got detected by my Windows 10 laptop. Thanks for the help anyways.

    Regards

    Hi,

Yes, i tried connecting it to my smartphone and it is working fine. It was working fine in my laptop before. I removed the device because it was showing less charge (4%) even though it was fully charged. In my smartphone, it is showing full charge. But after I removed the device from my laptop and tried to search for the Bluetooth device, it doesn't show up at all. Did a search in the registry for "OnePlus bluetooth" and it is listed. What should i do?

I recommend uninstalling the Bluetooth hardware driver in Device Manager and reinstall it. If you are sure that the item found in the registry belongs to the Bluetooth headset, you can try to delete it, but I suggest backup to prevent accidents.
