Windows thinks there's no internet, yet I can browse and go online.

As the title says, Windows thinks there's no internet on my PC, yet I can browse and go online and do everything with the internet. The only thing I can't do is download anything from the Microsoft store - or anything else Microsoft. I can still browse the store, but if I try downloading anything, it gets stuck because it thinks there's no internet.

This is an issue because it means I can't download apps and games from the store, cannot get any Windows updates, security fixes, and most recently I've just discovered I cannot install the Origin Games Launcher - for which I'm assuming is because Windows thinks there is no internet (Origin too says there is no internet, when there definitely 100% is).

  1. Bottom right internet icon says there is no internet.

  1. Hovering over this icon also says I am not connected.

  1. If I use the LMB on the icon, it in fact says I AM connected.

  1. If I go in to Settings, it says there is no internet, so am unable to install anything.

  1. The Network & Internet section also says there is no internet.

  1. If I press 'Troubleshoot' is suggests resetting my network. I have done this at least 3 to 4 times since this problem began, and it did not work.

This problem began like 2 years ago. I don't know what I was doing at the time or why this has happened. I've learned to live with it but it's become more of an inconvenience. I've looked online for many solutions and have found none that worked. I truly do believe I've tried everything except for calling someone to come into my home to take a look in to it.

Please someone help me so I don't have to do that.
