Weird, subtle horizontal lines on monitor

Suddenly today one of my monitors started looking weird, with these subtle horizontal lines covering the entire screen, along with some weird color transitioning.

It's hard to describe and the picture doesn't help a lot since I'm taking a picture of a screen, but I tried my best you can see it kind of cuts the letters and the numbersz also the marker on the right is cut up into pieces, it's a lot more noticeable with the eye. On the second picture you can see the weird color transitioning.

I don't know what caused this, as it was working perfectly fine earlier today.

    Hi bernardoalgarte,

Good day! This is Jhakesong and I will be happy to assist you with this.

I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience. This could be an issue with the graphics driver on your computer. Do these lines also appear when your first start the computer? (Before windows is loaded). If so, the issue could be your graphics hardware. If it only happens inside windows, let's try to reinstall the graphics drivers. Here's how:

    Reinstall graphics drivers:

    1. Press Windows key + X
    2. Open Device Manager
    3. Expand Display Adapters
    4. Right click on your Display driver
    5. Select uninstall
    6. Reboot your computer, check if the issue still persists.

If the above does not help, you may also download the graphics drivers directly from your computer manufacturer's website if what you have is a laptop. If it is a desktop, you may download the drivers from your graphics card manufacturer website.

Let me know how it goes. Have a great day!

Thanks for the quick answer, I really appreciate it!

Fortunately it is back to normal since yesterday, I have not done anything other than turn it off since then.

If the issue every arises again I'll try your solution, thanks!

Once again, I really appreciate it!
