I am attempting to connect BOSE QC 35 II headphones and after much trying I am now at this point:

  1. In Bluetooth and other Devices I am showing under Other Devices, Skillet Boy - Paired and LE-Skillet Boy - Paired
  2. In Control Panel, Devices and Printers I am showing a Headphone Skillet Boy which is 1 of 9 devices shown in the various sections. At the bottom of

the page it shows 1 item as follows: Skillet Boy Model: Bluetooth Peripheral Device

                                                                                       Category: Headphone

                                                                                       Status: Paired
  1. In Control Panel, Sound I can make two devices enabled High Definition Audio Device and VG248 monitor. There is one picture of headphones

and they say, Headphones, High Definition Audio Device, Not plugged in. I can cause it to say Disabled, Unplugged but clicking on Enable just removes Disabled.

Inside the Properties under events it says: Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_18496893&REV_1003\4&1a1ebc7b&0&0001 requires further installation.

It seems like I am very close to a solution to my problem and hopefully someone out there can provide assistance.

P.S. I forgot to say that my computer is an iBuyPower Desktop - 7PC5FQI

I finally got the headphones accepted and connected. You just have to start at the begining and do EXACTLY as it says throughout this troubleshooting process. Phew
