windows 11 home to win 11 pro upgrade

Dear Microsoft community

I bought a new laptop from Dell company last month came with preinstalled windows 11 home , I just want to upgrade to win 11 pro . I tried to upgrade through Microsoft store it shows win 10/11 costs $139. It is quiet expensive .windows 10 home to win 10pro was $99.

How much it costs exactly to upgrade from win 11 home to win11 pro?

    Dear Microsoft,

    I have bought HP envy laptop which updated to windows 11 home but I want to update it to Windows 11 pro can you please give me some discount on windows 11 pro as I have already paid for the windows when I bought my laptop if you can give me some discount it will be easy for me to get my laptop switched from windows 11 home to windows 11 pro.

    You aren't communicating with Microsoft here and if you were, it's not at all likely that there's a discount available.

    EliseM_456 has answered the original question about purchasing the upgrade from Microsoft and added advice about third-party retailers.

    That is the correct price for your region that is displayed when you access the Microsoft store. However often third party resellers may also sell licenses which might cost less, I would suggest checking with a local computer retailers to see if this is the case.
