Hi there,
My sounds randomly stops working, i have a Beyerdynamic DT990 250 Ohm hooked op to a SoundblasterX G6. I also use wave link software to controll all the different sound inputs/outputs i have. The only fix i currently have to get my sound back, is to either restart my pc or change the "monitor mix" in wave link, to a different output, then to change it back to the original. After some time again, i can hear kind of some crackeling of some short, then my sound just vanishesh. Im kinda lost and would appreciate some help!

Dear PrestigeDK,
I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.
Kindly perform a clean boot and disable non-Microsoft services:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...
After that check to see if the issue still persists or not. If the issue is fixed, do the same procedure and re-enable the services one by one until you find the service that causes the crash.
Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.
Stay safe
I'm sorry if the steps didn't work. It seems that the issue is complex than what I expected.
It may be best if I release your question to other advisors so they can take a look at it and let them share some other ways that can fix the issue.
You take care and keep safe always.
Sincerely,
Louie
Hi,
I have tried everything and nothing works. When i restart i have sound for a longer period of time, but after some time it just goes away again.
I dont know what to do, i have tried the list and the audio troubleshooter also doesnt work.
Hello, I'm Louie, and I'm happy to help you today. Hope you're doing well and safe there.
I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Audio. I would recommend first running the troubleshooter. This tool is designed to check for any misconfiguration on your drivers and repair them for you.
In the search box on the taskbar,
You may also launch the troubleshooter from audio Settings.
Select Start > Settings > System > Sound > Troubleshoot.
If you're still having issues with audio, you can refer to this support article for further troubleshooting.

Hope this helps and looking forward for good results.
Sincerely,
