Hi Paul,
I did as instructed and restarted, but a crash still happened. It also crashed when i was full-screen on Zoom today.
Here is the latest event log https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlpW51aew_fNiw9VaiDjSTjAgdGa?e=4uDmzP
Thank you

Hi,
I have the issue with a 2018 Acer Swift 3, when i am watching videos on youtube in full screen, it randomly shuts down or hibernates. I've checked event viewer and found this error corresponding to each time it shuts down. More often than not, it happens when the laptop is plugged in.
Miniport Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter #4, {072f3380-9b6b-43d2-b38f-725154b047ff}, had event Fatal error: The miniport has failed a power transition to operational power
I've tried updating drivers, but i couldn't find one with the exact same name as above in device manager
I find it strange that this has anything to do with being in full screen. I was suspecting an overheat but it didn't make sense to me that it only happens when on fullscreen.
Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply. I was offline.
Since the issue still happened while the display drivers are disabled it means that cause is different.
Can you share the System logs so that I can do some more digging?
>> Open Event Viewer.
>> Click Windows Logs.
>> Right-click System
>> click "Save all events as"
>> Select location, name the file, and click Save.
>> select "Display Information for these languages ", click English and click OK.
>> Upload the saved log file to OneDrive and share the link here.
Thanks.
Ok i've just had it shut down again twice. Once with only the NVIDIA driver disabled, and another time with both disabled.
Any other ideas?
Thank you!

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the quick response!
There's an Intel UHD Graphics 620 card and also a NVIDIA GeForce MX150. I'll try disabling the NVIDIA one first, since its most likely active when power is plugged in.
The shutdowns don't happen consistently nor immediately, so i'll report back in a while if there's been any new occurence.
Best regards,

Hi 1821JG93,
I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.
The issue might be related to the Display Driver.
Can you disable the Display Driver temporarily so that we can confirm if the issue is caused by the driver?
Open Device Manager > click Display Adapters > right-click Display Driver > click Disable Device.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks.
