Hi Daitan9,
Thanks for reaching out here at Microsoft Community.
It sounds like your hotspot from Ethernet connection doesn't work. Don't worry, the following methods could be used to troubleshoot:
- Make sure you are enabling by the steps in this link | Use your Windows PC as a mobile hotspot (microsoft.com).
- Press Windows key + R simultaneously > Enter: regedit and hit OK to open the regedit editor > Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WlanSvc\Parameters\HostedNetworkSettings\ > Delete the following key:
HostedNetworkSettings > Restart your device then try again.
3. Run the Network adapter troubleshooter:
Open Start > Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot > Scroll down, select Network adapters > Click Run the troubleshooter > When complete, restart to see if it works.
- If the problem is still there, try to reinstall the network driver:
- Press Windows key + X > Click Device Manager > Expand Network adapters > Right click your adapter > Click Uninstall.
- Exit Device Manager then restart your device. Windows 11 will re-detect them and reinstall them.
Feel free to post back if you need further assistance. And wish you a happy new year.
