Can't Update My Windows 10 Computer No Matter What I Try

For some weird reason, I can't seem to update my Windows 10 computer. At the Windows Update settings, my computer says "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes.", so I would try checking my computer for updates but not much is done. Sometimes my computer won't find any updates but will still say "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes.", but even when my computer does update anything, my computer will still say "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes.". I've tried updating my computer multiple times, troubleshooting my computer in terms of updates, and I even attempted factory resetting my computer, but my computer still can't seem to be fully updated. I would appreciate any help I could get for solving this issue. I use a Windows 10 Home computer that has 1909 as its version. The manufacturer of my computer is CyberPowerPC.

same issue. I went through diagnostics and restore points. I was unable to refresh windows and installation disk didn't allow for reinstall - it just asked for product code. I was also having problems downloading from microsoft store. I suspected borked installation.

I have ssd for OS and second old spinning drive with original win 10 install.

I booted into the old spinning drive and cloned it back to the SSD. (back from when I didn't get error). Upon rebooting the SSD OS drive I get the same "your device is missing important security and quality fixes."

I have all important updates. I have not installed feature update 21H1.

I think its a microsoft glitch.

I recently tried reinstalling Windows 10 and I came across this issue:

    "0xC1900101 - 0x20017"

"The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation"

If you can tell me what happened here that'd be helpful.

    Hi MagicCrystal64 -

Thanks for the response and I do apologize if the method did not fix the issue.

Kindly try to perform in-place repair on your windows computer to fix all corrupted system components. In-place repair/upgrade or repair reinstall is a process of re-installing Windows without touching any of your applications or personal files. In this way if there's any data corruption, damaged system files or missing system files on your computer, this repair will fix or repair them.

To start we need to download an ISO file of Windows 10 and save it to your computer. Please follow the instruction on the link below to create an ISO file

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402819...

After the ISO is created, follow the instructions on the link below created by PaulSey, Microsoft Agent, on how to perform repair install on your computer.

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...

This process will take some time to complete so you need to be very patient in waiting until the process completes. Once done , restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

    Regards,

    Kevin B.

I tried the following activities and it seems like the computer still has the same problem, but my computer gave me a notification on why it can't finish updating. Here's the message I got from "View update history":

Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2

    Failed to install on ‎1/‎29/‎2022 - 0xc1900101

I believe "0xc1900101" possibly means something important. I would appreciate it if you or somebody else could further help me. Thank you.
