Windows 11 - User Account Management

Anonymous
2022-01-05T02:48:24+00:00

My computer has two users - one with a Microsoft account and one without. Both accounts are administrator accounts.

I was looking for a way to change the password for the other user (non-Microsoft account) but could find no option to do so. Windows 10 allowed one to do this (I think). I couldn't either, find an option to view all the users on my machine.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Tim

Thanks. I won't install third party apps for this purpose. I'll just change it via the local user account.

No, netplwiz is an app built in into Windows. This is not a 3rd party.

    Hi Tim,

I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

I believe you can only change the password if you are signed in to the Local account.

Can you try using Netplwiz? Instructions hold good for 11 too.

Oh - many thanks. In that case, yes, I'll give that a go and let you all know how it goes.
