Windows 10 Pro Only seeing 192Gb on my 256Gb Memory RAM

Hello everyone, I'm Martin from France and I have a question for the community.

First of all sorry for my English, there will be mistakes because I haven't practiced for a very long time.

I will explain my problem to you, I am a graphic designer and I built a great PC, I put a lot of time and money into it because it was my first build. (You can see the components attached). But as mentioned in the topic title, my PC only sees 192 Gb out of 256 Gb, while the CPU software sees the 256 Gb fine. I spent hours searching on the internet, the components are compatible, I made unsuccessful manipulations... today I don't know what to do to find these missing 64Gb. Have any of you ever had this problem? Does anyone have an answer? Thanks in advance to anyone reading this post.

All the best,

Martin.

    Hi Aymeric !!!

Thanks a lot for your help !!! Even if it would be easier in french, maybe the community would be interested by your knowledge.

I just looked in the bios and you're right, there are two bars missing here. (attachment 1) What is very weird is that in the software of the Asus CPU, it sees the 256 GB well (attachment 2). So I guess we can rule out a simple slot failure. I took the pins off and put them back on but that didn't change anything. For the manipulations, I had found a tutorial that said to go to the system settings to uncheck a "max ram available" box, with no effect. Do you have an idea that I could explore?

Merci à toi et bonne fin de journée,

    Martin.

Hello ! I'm Aymeric, and I'm here to help.

What does your BIOS say ? Does the BIOS of the motherboard see the correct amount of RAM ? It's a great starting point for troubleshooting.

Also, what have you tried since the beginning of the problem ?

Also, if you prefer, we can speak French for the remainder of the conversation.

    Waiting for your answer !

    Aymeric,

I just updated all the motherboard drivers and everything is back to normal (attachment).

Anyway, thank you for your help.

    Have a good evening, Martin.
