Canon Dr-2050 Scanner

After the Windows 10 update this week, my Canon DR-2050 Scanner shows as unidentified device. There are no driver updates and I had to install this scanner in compatibility mode for Vista originally. Will this be fixed by Microsoft?

For now I uninstalled the update and my scanner is working again. Thanks,

    Sure it never was fully compatible in Windows 10 hence the required installation for the driver in compatibility mode.

    Any chance to get an answer from Microsoft if there will be a fix to the latest update and I can use the scanner again and install the update?

    Your cannon is not fully compatible with Win 10 or any later version

    Just in case someone else is interested: I tried again today - installed the January update and now my scanner is working again in the Vista compatibility mode, as always.

    Only the default update was installed.
