Yes, I have been listening. That's why I've repeated what you said. I have not decided that I'm right. That's why I'm still looking for help, duh! You also said that no matter how many times I scan, I'll "only find the same malware". That's not true at all, because if you read what I said before, that sometimes I'll see 0 infected files for many months. Then many months later, I may see 1 infected file. I'll find it and fix it. 0 infected files again. Months later, 0 infected files, then months later, maybe a 2 or 3 infected files. So, you see? It is not always the same. That's why every so often, again, every so often, I'll run the scan. This is the first time I'm seeing 70 infected files. Again, not always the same. So, don't say that when it runs, it's always the same. While the MSRT has 0 infected files, the WSS may show a different thing. They are not the same either. You've never mentioned the Offline Scanner until I did (in my previous reply). You're mentioning the Windows Defender Offline Scanner to me like it's a new thing. I don't care if you are or have been an obsessive scanner. We're not the same in that way, because I don't do that, just because I want to use these once in a while. Once in a while does not make me obsessive like you. This is getting us nowhere when you keep replying with these childish remarks. You're like a condescending know-it-all.
Yes, I do know the difference between a quick scan & a full scan. And no, they do not do the same thing. I know that a quick scan just scans the main parts of a system and may miss other malware that a full scan detects. That's why they have the 2. I'm not stupid! But that's not my issue. Why would you even mention that? I'll say it again, you seem like a very mean person to me. A very condescending, combative know-it-all. I don't need these crappy words from you. Leave me alone. I will cancel & unsubscribe this question. Eww!!
