I seem to have lost the ability to write to an XPS file. How do I get that feature back? Does not display in Windows Features.

    See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/printdocs/microsoft-xps-document-writer

To install or reinstall the XPS Document Writer, Press Windows key + R, Type: "control printers", select Enter, select Add printer, select The printer what I want isn't listed, select Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings, select Use an existing port, select Next, select Microsoft from the left column, select microsoft xps document writer from the right column, select Next and the Microsoft XPS Document Writer will download.

Which I would modify as follows:

    • Press Windows key + R, type control printers in the Search box, and press Enter (or simply click Start > Devices and printers)
    • Select Add a printer
    • Select Add a local printer
    • Select Use an existing port
    • Use the drop-down list to select XPS Port (Local Port)
    • Click Next
    • Select Microsoft in the left pane (under Manufacturer)
    • Select Microsoft XPS Document Writer (if there are two entries, pick the one with the higher version number)
    • Click Next
    • If available, select Use the driver that is currently installed (Recommended)
    • Click Next
    • Accept (or modify) the name and click Next
    • Complete the Wizard
