Ctrl W not working

I recently updated my computer to Windows 11, and I was having an issue with the GameBar, where whenever I used the shortcut ctrl w, the GameBar popped up. I found a way to disable this (by removing the GameBar), but now my ctrl w shortcut won't work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm sorry that didn't work. Now, I would recommend you try to Reset your keyboard settings.

    1. Open the Start Menu and type Settings in the Search bar. Double-click on the Windows Settings icon in the search result.
    2. When in the Settings window, click to expand the ‘Time & Language’ settings on the left sidebar.
    3. Next, click on the Language & Region option.
    4. Now you need to select your system’s default language and move it to the top by dragging.
    5. Doing so will reset any changes that you’ve made to the keyboard settings in the past.
    6. Now close the Settings window and restart your Windows 11 PC.

I hope it helps! Let me know the results :)

Hi cal, I am Juliet and It's my pleasure to help you today.

How are you? I hope you are doing good.

I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you :)

If Filter Keys is turned on, it could be causing the Windows key to stop working on Windows 11.

To make sure Filter Keys is disabled, open the Start menu and select Settings. From there, press Accessibility > Keyboard.

In the Keyboard menu, make sure the Filter keys option is set to off.

I hope it helps! Let me know the results. :)
