Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

I understand the issue you have, nothing to worry I am here to help, I know some of these steps are already done, you have just skipped it if you think it will have the same result.

Method 1. Repair Windows Scan app

Go to Settings> Apps> Apps and Features

Look for the Windows Scan app then click Advanced options

Click Terminate then click Repair then click Reset

Restart the PC and check again.

Method 2. Reinstall the Windows Scan app

Go to Settings> Apps> Apps and Features

Look for the Windows Scan app then Click uninstall

Then kindly reinstall from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/windows-scan/...

Method 3. Use Windows Fax and Scan instead

Press Windows key + R then type in:

    wfs

Then hit OK and try to scan from that.

Let me know how does it go and I hope that helps.

I see thanks, If none will work from the above solution, I suggest doing an in-place upgrade wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
