Hello, I just find a unusual thing inside my SYSTEM32 folder, it was strange because when I find out this, I was thinking that could be because I download Gameloop that is an emulator for android games, but after the antivirus alert, I just delete it and then I did a clean windows instalation, after some system updates, this appear again inside those paths:

C:\Windows\System32\Intel\Tencent

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\intcoed.inf_amd64_22ffced98454b421\WoVartifacts\Tencent

I don't know if its normal and if its related to some Intel updates since I've Intel graphic card and processor. How can I check if they're safe files? Can I delete these files? (I've tried but I didnt have some system permission, I'll find out how).

    Hi Lucas,

So, it is the Intel driver updates installing those files, yes it is safe to delete them, they are not required unless you play TenCent games.

    Thank you Dave,

There's anything I can do to double check if these files are legit? Like somewhere else I can scan them?

    Hi Lucas,

It is very strange that those files have re-appeared after you have re-installed Windows, and that most of those TenCent Language files have a date of 16/04/2020 most likely there is something else installing those files and I think that is an Intel driver doing that, I do not believe this is malware related.

I did it a long time ago, but since this, I restarted my windows and for the last time I just format all partitions of the SSD and run a clean installation and didn't install nothing related to TenCent, but these folders appeared again.

I did a full system scan with Norton Antivirus and did show me no alert. I'm just worried because i've no software from TenCent in my computer since I did the clean installation.

    Hi Lucas,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Those files all seem to be device drivers for TenCent games, did you install a game from TenCent at any time on your PC?

Did Defender or any other anti-virus indicate one of those files was infected with malware, if so, can you please provide a screenshot of that
