Hi all, I'm just wondering if this is a virus? I ran it through VirusTotal and it came up with CRDF as malicious now I'm worried if my computer has a virus or not.

This is the image I downloaded and this is the link on where I downloaded it from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/pantone-color-of-the-year-2022/9njw9j87lcvp#activetab=pivot:overviewtab

It's an official Microsoft Store page, I just right clicked and saved the image. However out of curiosity I ran that link through VirusTotal and to my surprise it came up at malicious.

CRDF is an independent IT security lab, not a virus. As I said, it's a false positive, both the link and the hosted file are 100% clean.

In my opinion, CRDF are prone to false positives.

There's nothing to play safe about here, there are absolutely no threats, resetting your computer is a waste of time.

Hi Kane, I can assure you that that detection is a false positive. It's nothing but a genuine jpg image hosted at the Microsoft Store, and no antivirus at VirusTotal is detecting the actual image.

Here's the scan result for the image:

Hello, I want to ask you something a Facebook friend sent me this link https://ffm.to/videosxa I have already seen it but it asks me to enter a password and Facebook email, and I went to a page to check it and it tells me that it has "identity theft" Y "CRDF" I wanted to know if opening it causes it to have any viruses, I don't know if you know about that.

An apology for my English is not my language and I am trying to apply what I learned in this text.

    Thank you!
