FYI I think I can replicate when this error gets triggered. If I lock my screen, allow windows hello to recognize my face, and then dismiss the lock screen then in the reliability monitor chances are that this critical event appears. Although everything worked out seemingly without problems. It is as if when I get recognized, the service stops working and logs a critical event error.
Windows Biometric Service has stopped working . It happens multiple times throughout the day.
Every single day there are entries in the reliability monitor stating Windows Biometric Service has stopped working. I am also worried this triggers other kinds of problems like sound stutters, freezes, and occasionally blue screens.

2022-02-22T07:35:37+00:00 Thank you for your prompt reply, here is my feedback.
"First make sure Windows Biometric Services is turned on.
Right-click this computer, open Computer Management, find Services, find Windows Biometric Service,
Right click, properties, general, startup type, and see if it is opened*."*
Can you please define opened? I did follow your instructions and in the end I found this service as Stopped. I could start it but I did not. The setting is Automatic(Trigger Start). So I have applied no changes.
Regarding your second suggestion about the error message I have not followed the instructions yet since I had run before an sfc scan and returned 0 errors. My question is wouldn't the sfc scan fix what you are describing as copying over from another identical windows installation?
Finally for your third suggestion about repairing I have no intention of going there yet since this windows 11 installation is only two weeks old and runs without problems, apart from this seen through the reliability monitor.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.
First make sure Windows Biometric Services is turned on.
Right-click this computer, open Computer Management, find Services, find Windows Biometric Service,
Right click, properties, general, startup type, and see if it is opened.
About the error message you provided: C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe
svchost.exe is the generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries (DLLs).
is a system file in Windows.
The faulty module is: ntdll.dll
There is an error in this dll file. If it is convenient, you can open C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll in a computer with the same system version and operating system bitness.
Copy ntdll.dll to the same directory on this computer to replace the original file, you can back up your own files, then run the command prompt as an administrator, copy and paste the following command to run:
regsvr32 /i ntdll.dll
After that, in C:\Windows\System32, find cmd, run cmd as an administrator, paste and enter the sfc /scannow command, and perform the repair operation.
If the above methods do not solve the problem, you can try the system repair installation.
This operation preserves your files and software, just for system repair :
Download the iso file to cover and repair the installation:
(1) Please enter the following link:Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
(2) Click 【Create Windows 11 Installation Media】to download [MediaCreationToolW11.exe] tool.
(3) Open after downloading, and choose to accept after opening.
(4) Click [Create installation media for another computer].
(5) Choose the next step after confirming the language, version and architecture.
(6) Click [ISO file], click Next.
(7) Select the download path and name of the file in the pop-up window.
(8) After clicking Save again, the Win11 ISO file will be automatically downloaded.
(9) After downloading the ISO file, double-click the ISO file to open it, click [setup] to open, select [Change the way to download and update Windows installer], select [Not used now], click Next, wait for the completion of the run, and finally select [ Installation], wait for the installation to complete. (Before clicking install, save all the files you are editing)
I hope this reply could address your question, or if you will have any question on it, please feel free to let me know.
Best Regards,
