Multiple Monitors | Windows 10 | Only two monitors function at a time

I have a Windows 10 pc with three displayports: VGA, HDMI, DVI

The display settings window shows all three displays, but will only allow me to use any two out of the three, as per the screenshots/pictures

I am not sure what further infomation you need to answer, unless it's something obvious that I am missing. 😊

Thanks

David

    Hi WorldOfInterest

some graphics cards, although they have 3 ports, can only handle two monitors at a time.

My Intel graphics 4400 is the same, windows is displayed on the main display and I can choose either one of the other two.

Check the specs of the Graphics card on the manufacturer's site.

There were versions of that card with a display port that could handle three monitors.

    (with AMD Eyefinity)

Those with HDMI, DVI and VGA can only handle two monitors.

If you want to duplicate one monitor you could consider a splitter and connect two monitors into one port, you will still be able to extend onto the other monitor.

Thanks very much for your help!

My graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 5450, which, apparently, may work with three monitors with an additional GPU.
