Opened up Computer Management - Services and this one just stood out to me. The description says "Enables trigger-starting plan9 file servers." Anyone have any kind of info about this service aside from the 1 thing Google has to tell me about it?

I also found a few other services with the same ending "_a6cdf" and some of them looking like duplicates from a service listed right before it.

Connected Devices Platform Service

Connected Devices Platform User Service_a6cdf

Credential Manager

CredentialEnrollmentManagerUserSvc_a6cdf

I'm also getting nothing back from Google on these ones:

NPSMSvc_a6cdf

PenService_a6cdf

Thanks in advance.

    Hello logically.blonde,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

the service is a part of Windows Subsystem for Linux in Windows 11.

The Windows 10 operating system comes with the P9 server as part of the WSL install so that it can communicate with a Linux filesystem and this service originates from it.
