Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.
As I understand it, when installing a driver earlier than the one Windows is installing, the problem does not occur. But Windows updates the driver to a newer version, and the problem reoccurs.
Feel free to correct me if I've misunderstood.
Can you tell me the version of the driver that Windows Update is installing?
Send your system information. I will try to find a newer driver provided by Realtek.
- Open Start, Type System Information, and select "System Information" from the list of results;
- Select "File > Save" and save the file in a location you can easily find;
- Upload the file to the cloud (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc...) and choose to share it to get the link;
- Post the link to the file here so it can be analyzed.
Feel free to ask back any questions.
