Problem Windows Doesnt detect my Razer Kraken Headset Because of the sound driver

Ive got a problem using my mic from my Razer kraken headset. When it doesnt work i try reinstalling the sound drivers from version 10.0.19041.1 with driver date 12/6/2019 since the drivers that windows download automatically cause this problem to occur.

But my headset was working properly before the last update of windows. So i would like to give me a solution to my problem.

I have done the following things:

  1. Uninstalling and reinstalling all the sound drivers
  2. Checking my headset to another pc and it works
  3. I know its not my laptop's technical problem since my headset after the installation of the driver i have said works properly
  4. I have tried disable my windows updates in order to not let windows update my sound drivers BUT first of all this isnt a solution since laptops and pcs need the windows updates in order to work properly, secondly whenever i open my laptop it still downloads automatically the sound drivers.
  5. I have contacted with Razer support and they said me to do all the things that are provided by microsoft support in order to fix the problem but nothing happened.

The problem is not caused by hardware. It is clear that is caused my software.

Please give me a solution to this problem since I am trying solve it for 3 to 4 months......

Thank you.

    Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    As I understand it, when installing a driver earlier than the one Windows is installing, the problem does not occur. But Windows updates the driver to a newer version, and the problem reoccurs.

    Feel free to correct me if I've misunderstood.

    Can you tell me the version of the driver that Windows Update is installing?

    Send your system information. I will try to find a newer driver provided by Realtek.

    1. Open Start, Type System Information, and select "System Information" from the list of results;
    2. Select "File > Save" and save the file in a location you can easily find;
    3. Upload the file to the cloud (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc...) and choose to share it to get the link;
    4. Post the link to the file here so it can be analyzed.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.

    I'm sorry if the steps didn't work. It seems that the issue is complex than what I expected.

    It may be best if I release your question to other advisors so they can take a look at it and let them share some other ways that can fix the issue.

    You take care and keep safe always.

    Sincerely,

    Louie

    Well I did what you said and it didnt even do anything. I also did what the article you shared me says and it didnt do anything too. I send you a picture of what looks like to my computer when is working properly(First picture) and what looks like when its notworking properly (Second picture).

    This may help you understand more of the problem.

    I just want you to know that in both pictures my headset are connected to my laptop (through the splitter provided by razer for razer kraken headset).

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello, I'm Louie, and I'm happy to help you today. Hope you're doing well and safe there.

    I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your Audio. I would recommend first running the troubleshooter with the headphones connected. This tool is designed to check for any misconfiguration on your drivers and repair them for you.

    In the search box on the taskbar,

    • Type audio troubleshooter, select Fix and find problems with playing sound from the results, then click on Next.
    • Select the device you want to troubleshoot and then continue through the troubleshooter.

    You may also launch the troubleshooter from audio Settings.

    Select Start > Settings > System > Sound > Troubleshoot.

    If you're still having issues with audio, you can refer to the thread and support article below for further troubleshooting.
