I tried opening a zip file in the Data (D:) and it instantly filled up my Local Disk (C:). Where does it go?

    Hi ElliotRenggie,

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue!

I am Bhavik, a Microsoft user like you. Please note, I am not a Microsoft employee and don’t have direct access to your account, but I will do everything I can to help you with your queries. :)

While unzipping it, have you provided any default path or in application settings?

Next, please right-click on the ZIP file and select the "Extract All" option and it will show the path where it will extract the files.

Then pick the location in the D drive where you want to extract the files and proceed further and extract.

Next, copy any file name from the extracted files and search it in C Drive and see where you can locate that file, once located, right-click on it and select "Open File Location" in the search window, which would bring you to that folder where it was extracted previously in C drive.

Let me know in case of any further assistance is required, I will be glad to assist.

    Thanks

    Bhavik
