If i delete console files using disk cleanup in event viewer, will it happen in operating system files? Is deleting console files delete some system files?

    You can safely delete those files they are not system files and can be deleted without affecting the system.

    Please check the last sentence saying :

    Quote : Users can delete the user portion of their user mode console files by executing Disk Cleanup through the MMC 2.0 File+Options menu.

    The main files that are system generated and required cannot be deleted. The ones in the disk cleanup are safe to delete though they are too small in size (511 kb) you won't even notice any difference so I would recommend leaving them as it is.

    one says not safe to delete and its part of the system but can customize snap-ins via mmc.
