Problem with creating a Microsoft account during the windows 11 set up process. (Before reaching windows Home Screen and can freely use pc etc)

Hi there!

Sorry for the long question but I’m in dire need of assistance, any replies are welcome and appreciated.

I’m having an absolute nightmare these last few days with windows 11. When I do a fresh install of windows 11 and I go through setting up everything, I come to the part where in setup after a fresh install it asks you to sign in or create a Microsoft account, I want to make a new Microsoft account so I click the option that says create one, and I fill in what outlook email I want, Date of birth etc, and then it comes to the security page. There’s no option to skip so I put phone number in, press next, blue line loads and then nothing happens and I can’t progress? Ive tried the email too and nothing is working so I can’t progress. Ive tried installing windows 10 instead, so the same process and it works for windows 10. I’m worried This is a problem my end or a bug or something in windows 11? Has anyone reported something similar before? Baring in mind I’ve done a ton of hard resets on my computer and this problem has never occurred before. Ive done everything I can think of to do and nothing is working. I know I can create a Microsoft account on my phone but want to know the root cause of this problem. Baring in mind this problems is straight after windows 11 is installed and I’m still in the setup stage. I desperately need help, I know this is a small problem but my OCD makes it massive and I’m worrying my pc is broken?

    Okay so these are the steps for me when creating a new Microsoft account.

    1. Sign in or create account
    2. create one
    3. get a new email address
    4. create password

    5)what’s your name?

    1. what’s your date of birth
    2. add security info

    And this is the page that I get stuck on, press enter after entering my number, my partners number I’ve tried everything

    After I enter the alternate email address for security, the blue line moves as if to say it’s loading, and then nothing happens. I click next, and it doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t freeze because as I hover over next the colour changes no matter how many times I click next or reinstall windows on a usb it keeps doing it

    You need to provide an image of what you see. I am in my Windows 11 book and following the steps. This sounds like what you need to fill in to create the new account.

    Do you get to the captcha where you need to enter what you see?

    Why do you want to create a new Microsoft Account?

    After reading where you got up to where you need to create a PIN did you create the four digit PIN before trying to move on? Do you have other options than just the PIN?
