Problem with All-in-One Printer Deskjet F380 - Scanner not working

Hello,

I have an All-in-One Printer HP Deskjet F380. I can print but I can not scan.

The app HP Scan and Capture is installed after Microsoft Store.

Printer driver is correctly working.

Scanner is not recognized and the device is recognized as "Other Devices\Deskjet F300 series" at Device Manager but driver is not provided by Microsoft.

I used HP Print and Scan Doctor application but it indicates that drivers are provided by Microsoft for this model, not by HP.

I'm stuck.

    Hello,

    As pointed out at https://support.hp.com/be-fr/document/ish_2956135-2843860-16 , HP indicates that Windows has a driver for Deskjet F380 printer, but scanner function is not working (apparently).

    DeskJet F300<br><br>DeskJet F325<br><br>DeskJet F370<br><br>DeskJet F375<br><br>DeskJet F380<br><br>DeskJet F388<br><br>DeskJet F390<br><br>DeskJet F394 Pilote intégré à Windows

    I look for a solution, and buying another scanner is not a suitable solution if manufacturer indicates that the device should work in Windows 10.

    As you have found HP doesn't provide drivers or full feature software for your model under win10

    If win update fails to provide an updated driver then you need a new Printer/scanner
