Hi,

Prior to the latest Windows 10 update.

My Toshiba Laptop and Fuji Xerox DocuPrint C1190FS printer were talking to each other via the cable from a USB port on the laptop.

After the latest Windows 10 update.

They are talking only on items I have created on the laptop.

I can NO longer print Emails or items off the web.

Can anyone please give me simple step by step instructions to fix this (I am old) .

Thanks

    Good Day Eleanor,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

Here's the steps you can try.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Settings

    -Click Update and Security

    -Click Troubleshooter then Additional troubleshooter.

-Look for Printer and run the troubleshooter.

Once done proceed with these steps.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Printer

-Look for Printer driver that was installed

    -Right click and Update

-Look for "Browse my computer for driver

-Let me pick drivers available drivers

-Choose an old driver and use it.

    Restart and check the printer.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

    Good day Eleanor,

If its isolated with Telstra email you can reach out to them to check.

Other option is to take a screenshot with the email you are trying to print, save it in your desktop and try to print it.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

    Much appreciated.

Your email printed. So its not the update but the actual email from Telstra thats the problem.

I have a friend with macular degeneration who does not use emails (as she cant see them properly). Telstra switched her mobile account to emails and which she could not read, so when I visited her I sent it to me for printing. But it would not print. And still will not print. Any thoughts , suggestions ?
