Why should I trust running files from a third party? I came to Microsoft for a Microsoft solution.
Windows is not up to date, but no updates appear

My Windows Update currently says: "You're not up to date. Your device is missing important security and quality fixes." But when I click "Check for updates" it loads for a minute and then nothing happens. There are no updates available, so why does it still say it is not up to date? I'm fairly certain it DOES need updates, but I don't know how to get them with Windows Update not working. I have reset my computer many times and the troubleshooter finds no issues.

2022-02-17T02:14:59+00:00 Thanks for your help! The following image is what Windows Update looks like. When I click "Check for updates" it loads for a moment and then nothing happens. It goes back to looking like this. It's really strange!
