Hi Lynn Sun. Thanks for your reply and yes I will do -> IT Pro docs.microsoft.com because I have found used MSC file extension eventvwr.msc Event Viewer many sys issues today. Event Viewer administrative logs -> 7281 events over the course of 45 days , all 7281 events with ID 10016 : Source ="Microsoft-Windows-DistributedCOM" WIRED!

I thought it might be an error of eventvwr.msc so I did System Restore  to the latest restore point, then Run SFC ( System File Checker ) to restore the corrupt or missing eventvwr.msc file just in case - no issues.

The initial log date indicates that it was shortly after the exchange of motherboard.

    Hi maxmarutti,

Thanks for raising your concern in Microsoft Community.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

    1. What operation was performed to get the error reported?
    2. What is the anomaly or problem with your device currently?

Looking forward to your response, and wishing you a lovely Christmas season and a very Happy New Year!

    Hi Lynn

    1. What operation was performed to get the error reported? - what caused the error? Explain please

I forgot about it, anyway to sort all system errors/ file corruptions I have used System File Checker and Deployment Image & Servicing Management tool.

    Command Prompt ( under Admin)

SFC /Scannow ( for system files repair) then DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth ( for fix any system corruption ) then system reboot.

5 minutes and job done .

    Hi maxmarutti,

Thanks for your update. Yes. What caused the error, that's what I mean.

Generally, the MSDTC service is only required when you are calling remote stored procedures or connecting to other SQL Server instances on the network through linked servers and other oledb data sources. If you don't do this, you can ignore these warning messages.

But if we focus on solving the issue, you have to consider whether MSDTC is turned on for both servers, whether they are in the same domain, etc. You can read this article| New functionality in MS DTC service - Application Developer | Microsoft Docs to get more info about the security settings of MSDTC.

Also, it is strongly recommended that you post your inquiry on our IT Pro docs.microsoft.com. This community caters to IT professionals who can provide advanced troubleshooting steps for your issue.

If you have other concerns, feel free to post on this thread.

    Best Regards,
