Hello, I'm Jan and I'm happy to help you today. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this problem with the USB device. That popup error Unknown surge on USB port Unknown USB device needs more power than the port can supply" can also indicate that the USB device is faulty or there is a problem with the USB ports. This is most likely the cause why the USB devices randomly disconnect and reconnect.

If you are using a USB HUB try to plug in the USB devices directly to the computer.

    1. Try using each of your USB devices on another working computer to check if the error will appear. If yes, most likely the USB device is faulty.
    2. Press Windows key + X

    Select Device Manager

    expand Universal Serial Bus controller

Select the USB root hub controllers from the list

    uninstall the drivers

    then restart your computer.

    1. Power cycle your computer.

    Shutdown the computer

    and unplug the power cables

Then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

    Plugin the power cables

    then power on the computer

Then try to plug in the USB devices.

    1. Download the latest drivers or chipset drivers from the Manufacturer's support website.
