Windows 11 doesn't recognise driver for Garmin ANT stick

I have a Garmin device that connects via an ANT stick. Since installing Windows 11 the ANT stick is not recognised when I plug it in. I have contacted Garmin and re-installed the driver, but still nothing. Garmin advised me to contact Microsoft for help.

    I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you.

    Is the Garmin ANT stick recognized in the device manager?

    1-Unplug the Garmin ANT stick

    2-Right-click on the Start then click on Device Manager

    3-Connect the Garmin ANT stick and check if is recognized

    4-If is recognized right-click and select properties

    5-Then click on the Driver tab and the Events tab and check if there is an error message and attach a screenshot of this information.

    Another possible solution is to install the software Garmin Express, this software has the newest version of the drivers.

    Hi Robinson:

    I had already installed Garmin Express and tried some of the things you listed without success. But recently, Garmin released an upgrade to Garmin Express that included new drivers. So, I tried the ANT stick after downloading and installing the new release and everything worked fine. Sorry I took a while to reply, but many thanks for taking the time to assist me with my problem.

    I have exactly the same issue, Garmin Express is up to date, I've gone through the Device Manager scenario and the only thing suggested is Windows Update which I have done to no avail. My laptop recognises the dongle but has no driver solution so I have APPS that are now useless in Windows 11?? Maybe Apple is the future at this rate! #frustrating

    Sorry to hear, since the update to Garmin I installed just prior to Feb 25th fixed the problem for me. It may be worth one last try to update Garmin Express (ever the optimist!).
