Windows 11 Touchscreen Not Working

Hello,

I recently (a month or so ago) updated my Windows 10 Asus Vivobook to Windows 11, and I estimate it to be around then when I noticed my touchscreen failing to work.

The touchscreen driver states the following under events:

Device settings for HID\ELAN2097&Col01\5&3424e359&0&0000 were migrated from previous OS installation.

Last Device Instance Id: HID\ELAN2097&Col01\5&3424e359&0&0000

Class Guid: {745a17a0-74d3-11d0-b6fe-00a0c90f57da}

Location Path:

Migration Rank: 0x0

Present: true

If anyone has similar issue, or can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated! Otherwise, I may attempt resetting to Windows 10.

I have already attempted enabling/disabling and updating the driver.

Right, it's important to get them on your side. They might be abused all day and will remember the customer who made them feel better, pay you back with extra care and courtesy. A little kindness goes a long way. Since I adopted this approach with Support I have always gotten what I want, and more.

I know you are already aligned this way by the way you replied to me, and there's nothing I won't do to see that your problem gets solved.

Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.

I have managed to find the correct settings using what you have provided (thank you!), but calibrating it does not work.

Lots of appreciation for your assistance, though!

    Hello!

Thank you so much for responding and providing me with help so soon.

Unfortunately, none of the options worked, though I was unable to find the calibrating tool on my laptop.

I'm beginning to wonder if it may be something that I need to get physically seen to.

I think I will attempt resetting my device to Windows 10 using the links you have provided.

    Once again, thank you!

    1. You can go back to Windows 10 within ten days by either of these methods:

    https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2021/08/how-to...

You can also extend the 10 days up to 60 days if you need more time to decide:

Feel free to ask back any questions. If you'll report back results for each step it can help determine what else needs to be tried. I will stick with you until it is fixed.
