HI,

I can't connect to website vigilantvn.com for some reason. I can connect to everything else fine & the website is not down I checked that. I'm getting an error code 20 & it also says The proxy failed to connect to the web server due to TCP connection timeout.  What does this mean & how can I be able to access the site. Thanks for any help that you can give.

    From the error displayed, it seems that the server is not working or is not accepting the connection.

    Maybe the error is happening to me because it's an international IP. Therefore the connection is refused.

    But in your case, the error could be due to a VPN, proxy setting or an ISP (Internet Service Provider) related issue.

    Do you have any VPN installed?

    If so, I suggest you uninstall and see if you can access the site.

    Check proxy settings:

    1. Press "Windows + R", type "inetcpl.cpl", and click Ok.
    2. Select the "Connections" tab and click on "LAN Settings";
    3. Uncheck "Automatically detect settings";
    4. Also, uncheck the option "Use a proxy server for your LAN..." if checked;
    5. Click OK in both windows.
    6. Close and open your browser and see if you can access the site.

    As for issues related to your ISP, you need to check with them.

    Hi Minh Nguyen_0810.

    I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

    The problem is with the website itself.

    The same error is occurring to me when trying to access the site on two different networks.

    I suggest you wait and try again later.

    Feel free to ask back any questions.

    Hi, David-M. Thanks for your reply.

    Actually this website is hosted in my company, current server and network team are also say all things are allowed, so I just dont know this error is often cause by network or server fauls.
