    "did i get scamed"

    • The oldest Intel integrated graphics capable of using DX11 effects is Intel HD2000, which was released in 2011.

Even these are not fully DX11 compatible. They can only use 'low level' DX11, and cannot run DX11 games (MS loves confusing things).

    • I don't know if this applies to Apex Legends, but a number of similar 'free to play' games (Fortnite is one example) upgraded from using

DX10\11 effects to DX11\12 in the past year or so, which caused much confusion with people using older machines with HD2000\3000

when the suddenly found they could no longer run the game after a certain update came along.

    • Your dxdiag shows - Intel i5 - in the display tab which seems to indicate that your Intel cpu may be what is referred to as 1st generation,

(Intel 600 series - 2010 release dates). The exact model cpu should be shown in the dxdiag System tab.

The 600 series uses the last version of the earlier Intel HD graphics, which are not only limited to using DX9 and 10,

but were never really intended for games (other than games that had very low system requirements).

Unlike the HD2000\3000 and newer Intel integrated graphics, which is part of the cpu, the earlier versions of Intel HD graphics

are a chip on the motherboard (if I remember correctly).

    • Integrated graphics is not actually a graphics 'card'. This term is used for dedicated gpu's, which are a separate component

that is mounted to the motherboard via an PCIe slot.

Even the Intel HD 2000\3000 are not good game performers, and are not capable of running many games effectively.

HD2000\3000 is best left to games that use the older DX9 effects (game like the earlier seasons of Fortnite would be using

DX9 effects on low settings ).

HD 2000\3000 and older, were also never fully supported on Win10 with proper dedicated Win10 drivers (they rely on

a generic driver that does not produce max performance from the gpu).

Even people in your time zone are not always engaged with the forums continuously all day or night.

You posted your threat only 22 minutes after Rodrigo's third post, and did not post an image of the System tab as requested.

I'm sorry, I was disconnected. Your integrated graphics does not support DirectX 11, it tops at DirectX 10

On the Start Menu, type dxdiag and press enter:

Send a Screenshot of the Display tab, if there is more than one, send of all Display tabs
